Kiernan is passionate about helping organizations clarify and communicate their vision, and live out their core values in ways that strengthen workplace culture, engagement with stakeholders and mission achievement.
Kiernan brings 20 years of experience to MG, working at the intersection of social purpose communication strategy and organizational innovation, supporting clients in building internal processes, structures and cultures that support the success of the organization and its people. With internal infrastructure and alignment in place, she also specializes in working with clients to co-design communication strategies and narrative shift campaigns that are relevant to diverse stakeholders and create long-term changes in mindsets, behaviors, policies, systems and norms.
Before her time at MG, Kiernan was the media lead at Manning Selvage and Lee and a communication associate for the Embassy of France in Washington, D.C.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and French from Georgetown University.
Kiernan is currently Board Chair of Oregon Business for Climate and also served and was a founding board member of the Irish Network Portland. She is the founder and past board president of Levé.
Consulting with the National Geographic Education Foundation gave Kiernan a lifelong respect for, and interest in, geography and travel. She also loves trivia, board games, Notre Dame football and good company.
