Al controls the monetary arm of Metropolitan Group and keeps the firm’s finances on a steady course, manages financial risk, oversees financial planning and record keeping, and supports staff efficiency.
Experience
He brings more than 20 years of financial and administrative experience to his work at MG. Al is a CPA, beginning his career in Houston, Texas, with a national public accounting firm. After leaving public accountancy, he was tapped to manage a nine-member startup service organization where he was responsible for all administrative, operational and financial matters. During his tenure, the firm grew to over 100 employees and became one of the most profitable in its field.
In Community
Tired of the oppressive heat and humidity of Houston, Al fled to the Pacific Northwest and found a home in Oregon. Al enjoys visiting his Columbia Gorge retreat with Buster, his golden retriever, and Penelope, his basset hound. An avid traveler, Al is trying to visit the “Seven Wonders of the World.” He is also easily amused or disgusted by the politics of the day.
